The UCNJ On-the-Job Training (OJT) is a wage reimbursement program through the Union County Board of Commissioners and the Union County Workforce Development Board. This is a government initiative to assist eligible Union County workers in finding employment. Under this program, employers are provided a wage subsidy of up to 50 percent of the new hire’s salary during the first six months on the job to help defray the cost of training new employees. It is funded by the Union County Board of Commissioners through the Union County Workforce Development Board. This funding can be up to as much as $10,000 per employee.
